Journey of the Heart is a transformative 2 days of teaching and prayer ministry presented by Sandra Sellmer-Kerston. This seminar will cover why we need inner healing; trauma and how it affects us; repentance; releasing from trauma and shame; restoration, and reconciliation.

// COURSE GOALS
Keys of understanding:
– why we and others act the way we do
– why we experience difficulties in our lives and relationships
– we have choices, there are solutions
– how, in the power of the Holy Spirit we are helped and enabled to help others
The Opportunity to begin implementing what is modelled during the course by:
– Sharing of God’s unconditional love through prayer & relationships
– Proclaiming freedom through confession, repentance, restitution and forgiveness.
– Listening and discerning the direction of the Holy Spirit.
– Basic Ministry skills: interviewing, active listening, prayer and ministry group dynamics.
– Ministering to one another according to the Word of God in the power and sensitivity of Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
// COURSE TOPICS
1. Beyond the Bandage, teachings on our heart and mind and their interconnection, identifying good and bad fruit in our lives, and understanding our sanctification and transformation journey.
2. Journey through brokenness, subtopics include trauma, the strongholds of self-protection we build, emotional abuse, healing the sexually abused and our unmet needs.
3. Journey to the cross, the biblical basis. We'll look at the bitter judgments we make on those who wound us, the bitter expectations we develop towards life, inner vows that constrict our growth, foundational lies we carry, denial, our fight/flight mechanism quite commonly overwrought, and other examples of self-protection such as denial, medication, etc.
4. Journey to forgiveness, includes actually accomplishing/completing forgiveness, generational sin and its power over us, and denial.
5. Journey Home to the fathers heart covers repentance and restoration.
6. Journey of Reconciliation: Seeing the Father as He truly is. How we see God, the discrepancy between head and heart knowledge, good and bad models of fathering and the impact of this on our image of and relationship with God.
