I'm looking at this picture of my country from space and it's like it doesn't exist. But we are! In the dark, without light and without the Internet, sometimes without water, but we are! We visit each other, drink tea brewed in thermoses. We have long conversations by candlelight and pray for our Ukraine, our soldiers, our power engineers.
Many people have wood burning stoves. Many people stocked up on gas cylinders and stoves and cook food on them. Russia cannot defeat our soldiers on the battlefield and it throws missiles at peaceful cities, subtly directing its missiles at energy infrastructure facilities. Millions of people were left without electricity, without heat, without communication, without the Internet. Of particular concern - what is happening to our relatives and friends? is everyone alive? The existing schedule of power outages assumes a rolling power outage every 4 hours.
We are already used to living like this - we need to have time to cook food, turn on the washing machine, flood the boiler, take a shower, and shop in the store. Because power engineers may not turn on electricity according to plan. 11/23/2022 2 missiles hit the nearest power plant (40 km) from us. For 12 hours we were cut off from everyone. In complete darkness and suspense .. but our power engineers are so great! they work in the cold and rain and at night, they try so hard to turn on the light as soon as possible!
We know and believe that no matter how difficult it is, Ukraine will be free and enlightened!
Thank you for helping us survive this war and win!
Distribution of food packages to families in crisis
Every month I breed food for our families. Yes, now the most common trip to the store, or to the post office sometimes turns into a difficult quest. If there is light, then there are long queues everywhere, and if there is no light, then you can pay at the checkout only in cash. And if there is no cash, then you need to go to the bank and wait for the light to turn on, standing in line to get cash. all operations have become quite complex. But possible! Little by little, all issues are resolved. Our food packages are helping these families a lot during this difficult time. Food prices have risen and there is very little work in the city.
I ask for your prayers for Artyom's family. His grandmother feels very weak, she has kidney inflammation and she is undergoing expensive antibiotic treatment. Artem loves his grandmother very much. He tries to study well. Grandmother does not teach him to help around the house, she tries to do all the work herself. They live very friendly. Artem is a very sensitive and anxious boy. He is very worried that his grandmother is sick. Artyom often cries when something doesn't work out for him, or when his grandmother scolds him. I feel sorry for this boy who became an orphan at an early age.
In Andrei's family, his mother is very ill. She hardly walks. Andrew is about to finish his studies. He often works in construction. The family of Vlad and Vicki has electricity and a wood stove. Their mother works. Almost all of our homes are in disarray and unsanitary conditions. I really want to learn how to live differently.
Request for prayer for the family of Rostik and Natasha
I ask you to continue praying for the family of Rostik and Natasha. A swindler who took money for half of the house where they live, she is again trying to evict them. (I already wrote that the mother, due to her naivety, did not formalize the legally correct transaction). She came with some men and threatened to evict them by force. This question is currently open. The swindler cannot evict minor children to the street, but the family does not have legal rights to this house either. Only God can intercede for this family and help them.
Now we are collecting documents to issue a passport for Rostik. In order to get a certificate of registration for Rostik, we went to the village of Kipyachka, where the children spent his early childhood. We also learned that their father was recently killed in a drunken brawl. We went to the cemetery and visited the grave of their father and the grave of their older brother, who died a year ago in a car accident. This is a sad sight. All relatives of these children are addicted to alcohol. There is not a single example of an alcohol-free life in their family. Pray that the mother of the children will want to change her life, start caring for her children and home, and be free from alcohol addiction.
I really want my children not to follow in the footsteps of their parents and grandparents, their older brothers and sisters. God has given me an amazing sense of caring for these children.
Please support me in prayer for these children, for God to touch their hearts, so that they have a good fate. Recently, Natasha began to learn to play the piano and she is doing well! I believe that the fervent prayer of the righteous can do much.
Тhank you, dear friends, for your participation in the lives of these children.
Children come to my house 3 times a week. The youth team from our church runs a day center for our children. Children have breakfast and do homework online, in between lessons we play, draw, talk, then have lunch. Since many children in the house do not have electricity, we try to ensure that all children buy and put on clean clothes. Each child has their own shelves in the closets, which store their textbooks, stationery and clean clothes. Each child has their own shelves in the closets, which store their textbooks, stationery and clean clothes. Every time the children come, we check their heads, nails and ears. Sometimes we have to comb the lice out of girls' hair. We try to make children fall in love with cleanliness and learn how to take care of themselves.
Very often we turn off the light and sometimes we have to do our homework by the light of light bulbs that accumulate energy. In such cases, we cook in the shed on a gas stove. The kids love being with us so much that they don't want to leave. Recently the first snow came and of course, all the children jumped out into the street to play snowballs. There was so much laughter and fun. Sometimes, looking at the joy of our children, we forget that there is a war going on .. But the children do not forget, when we sit down to eat, one of the children will definitely pray that all our soldiers are fed and everyone returns home to their families. And of course we pray for victory.
Our dear friends, your prayers and your contribution to these children, to their future is so great. Our children do not know you, but God knows each of you! May God be merciful to you and your children and grandchildren! Thank you! Please pray for us.
Another small children who need your prayers are the family of Bathsheba, Svyatoslav and their mother Oksana.Their dad is in a rehabilitation center, he is a drug addict. When Oksana got married, she did not know that her husband was a drug addict. She loves her husband and prays for him. Oksana goes to our church. Children are very capable and talented. They go to study at a dance studio in the city's cultural center. Unfortunately, due to frequent power outages, classes are often cancelled. Recently I gave them chess and, of course, this gift was a bit premature.
But I think that Virsavia will soon master the game of chess. It is hard for Oksana to support two children herself. Our food packages and dance class fees help them a lot.
Our church received refugees from the Donetsk region. Mostly women and children. Now all the people from the church have come together to help them. Everyone carried from his house what he could: blankets, pillows, bed linen, clothes, shoes.
We gave all the free rooms in the church for rooms for refugee families. We no longer set up tents, as it was in the spring, when the war began. We want to create comfort for these people.
The brothers from the church built two rooms in the main hall of our church so that everyone would have enough space. Everyone who can help cook food for the refugees. Later, when people adapt, they themselves will participate in cooking in the kitchen in the church. During the summer we equipped a large kitchen and dining room in the church.
It was my turn to prepare food for all the refugees.
Dear friends, thank you for your prayers and support and your love. Your participation in our ministry is invaluable!Your prayers protect us from all evil and give us hope and faith that the war will end and we will win!
